Primary Responsibilities


  • Assist the Manager to implement and manage an independent quality and safety system with its administration to ensure that the activities carried out can be monitored for compliance with the relevant CAAs, ISO9001, AS9110 & AS9120 requirements and relevant procedures and instructions that are called out by company procedures
  • Manage NOE (Notification of Escape), QSR (Quality Survey Report), SARI (Safety Related Item) and OCC (Reportable Occurrence)
  • Manage supplier claims and customer’s complaint
  • Initiate recording of supplier claims and follow-up with supplier on corrective actions to ensure complete and effective root cause analysis and corrective action implementation
  • Act as liaison between the supplier and the company to resolve non conformance and quality issues effectively by interacting and communicating both externally and internally with various levels of management of the supplier and the company
  • Provide support and guidance to the company on customer’s claim and follow up with the relevant stakeholders to ensure correct handling and closure of the claim on timely basis
  • Manage non-conforming material handling and ensure proper disposal of scrap parts
  • Provide support and guidance to the warehouse and shipping team on the incoming and outgoing quality assurance process
  • Ensure that rejected goods from suppliers as well as returned goods from customers are handled according to the guidelines laid down
  • Inform the Manager - Quality of deviations in connection with changes in quality requirements from customers, suppliers and/or authorities and recommend mitigation actions
  • Act as interface to stakeholders across the company in Hamburg, Copenhagen, USA, Dubai and China, ensuring efficient collaboration, consolidating team inputs to improvement projects or managing conflicts
  • Conduct technical and quality related training to relevant employees
  • Monitoring and reporting of key performance indicators
  • Report & Investigate any Suspected Unapproved Parts
  • Lead/Participate in projects and in practical problem solving
  • Manage Part 145 Quality operations as assigned by the Manager
  • Perform product audit and/or internal audit with its procedures and documentation as per audit plan to ensure continuous compliance with all the relevant regulatory requirements
  • Maintain tidy conditions in own working area and any other areas for which the individual is responsible


Secondary Responsibilities

  • Work in backup capacity within the team by arrangement with the Manager – Quality
  • Serve as alternate for the Manager - Quality when so assigned
  • Report any deterioration in Quality performance and recommend mitigation actions
  • Assist in the development of new processes together with the appropriate departments
  • Promote quality awareness throughout the organization
  • Assist the Manager to manage a system to monitor, investigate and evaluate customer's complaints and warranties issues in the operations


Qualification & Professional skills


  • Minimum Diploma in Aeronautical, Mechanical, Electronic/Electrical Engineering or related fields with min two years’ of aviation experience with at least one year in quality assurance function
  • Good understanding of EASA/FAA/CAAS/CAAC Regulatory requirements.
  • Knowledge of AS9100/AS9110/AS9120/ISO9001 quality system requirements
  • Technically knowledgeable and capable of grasping detailed engineering and quality concepts
  • Ability to understand and read blueprints, schematics & Component Maintenance Manuals
  • Ability to perform root cause(s) analysis and identify corrective & preventive actions
